Following his working tour of the United States of America (USA), President-elect Maurice KAMTO was received today in the Senate of the United States of America for an important and intense working session with Ms. Karen BASS.
Ms. BASS is a Democratic Party representative (Senator) of the United States and an officer of the United States Congress, where she sits on the House of Foreign Affairs Committee as chair of the Subcommittee on Africa.
This committee is also concerned with Global Health, Human Rights in the world, and international organizations. As a member of the Judicial Committee of the house, Ms. BASS is also working on the development of judicial reforms, criminal justice, and the protection of intellectual property infringements that threaten the economic health of the 37th District. Ms. BASS in the U.S. Congress also chairs the ” Congressional Black Caucus.”
