Author himself of an essay of very high philosophico-political significance, as well as numerous scientific works on law and international relations, the Cameroonian lawyer and politician, Maurice Kamto, published on Wednesday a text of tribute and congratulations to her compatriot Djaïli Amadou Amal, the Cameroonian writer who won the Prix Goncourt des Lycées 2020 on the same day.
The president of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement, who however reacted in a personal capacity, while he is still being held hostage with his family since the Paul Biya regime had his home surrounded on September 21, 2020 by squads of police officers and gendarmes, was delighted with the distinction made to his compatriot, whose exemplary career he salutes, and to whom he wishes a well-deserved career. Deserved, as would also be the introduction of her novel # »Les Impatientes » (Prix Goncourt des Lycéens 2020), among the textbooks on the program of high schools and colleges in Cameroon and Africa, or even elsewhere, already recipient of many other prizes. An introduction for which Maurice Kamto strongly pleads.
